"Excellent service and great food! My husband and I stopped in on a weeknight, the place has a cozy clean atmosphere. Loved sitting at the high top table with a cute little candle and ample views of the tvs. The nachos with chicken and queso blanco were so good! Would've taken a photo but we were starving. Looking forward to trying other options on the menu!"

"Great experience at Neat Good service, food, and drinks.. Portion sizes didn't necessarily fill me up, but they still get 5 stars. Burgers, Philly steak, Salmon Salad, and grilled cheese roast beef were all delicious"

"Neat has a fantastic atmosphere and an interesting menu with a lot of unique dishes and options. We opted for the hummus plate as an appetizer and the Cobb salad and Caesar salad + grilled chicken for our entrees, plus a side of sweet potato fries. The hummus plate was amazing as well as the sweet potato fries. The salads were pretty good, but the charred red peppers had the texture of pickled onions, which I wasn't a fan of. The salads were good overall, but for the price I was hoping for them to be better. The cocktail and beer menu is great and I loved the amount of local beer options. We will definitely return here, but will opt for different dishes than the salads."

"Great food. First time here. We ordered the Build Your Own Burger, my wife had the beef burger that was perfectly cooked. I ordered the turkey burger...so good. I also had the Southwest Tortilla Soup which was very favorable. We recommend Neat Kitchen... we'll be back."

"I love this place! I've been a few times and each time it's fantastic! Had the special food dinner Short Rib Pasta. Similar to a stroganoff, but so much tastier!! Their drinks are phenomenal, Lavender 75 is so yummy (don't be afraid of the lavender, it doesn't overpower) their seasonal menu is so good! Drinks I suggest: Raspberry Bramble, Crimson Orchard, French 75, Lavender 75, ESPRESSO MARTINI! Staff is so kind and friendly and knows their menu!"

"We live around 60 miles away, but we were in the neighborhood looking at a house and thought we should get lunch before heading back to Chicago. I checked reviews and we settled on Neat Kitchen & Bar in Oswego. Upon walking in, we were enthusiastically greeted by the Manager, Alexia. We looked around and saw a very nice bar, and a well light dining area. Our waitress Emma, immediately came up to our table and kindly discussed a few appetizers and took our drink order. My husband started with the Green Chili soup and it came hot and was nicely spiced- not too spicy. Then came our entrees- identical American Wagu Burgers. The standout on the burgers were the crispy shallots, roasted mushrooms and the truffle aioli. These were absolutely perfect, and while we both ordered “medium” temperature, my husband’s was more to the “medium well” side, while mine was perfect. He said he wasn’t bothered since it was still juicy, but it was a mild disappointment. The biggest, and happiest surprise were the sweet potato fries ($2.50 more, but definitely worth the upgrade). The sweet potato was cut into large spears and had a very nice seasoning. They were cooked to the optimum temperature (not sure that they come out this perfectly each time) and were crispy and freshly cooked. Paired with the truffle ailio (we ordered it on the side, they were fantastic). Emma was very attentive and brought the food out piping hot. She was warm, knew the menu and individual items and their ingredients, and efficient. Alexia came and checked that we were satisfied and saw that (I had just finished my pop) a refill was needed and immediately went to grab one. We were so full, when Emma suggested a milkshake or dessert, we had to sorrowfully decline- too long a trip home. We would just burst if we ate another bite. We liked the clean restrooms and this is important to a plus size woman like me- the steady and STURDY chairs and table. I am always uncomfortable when a table wobbles or a chair creaks- no such problems here. If we are ever back in the we definitely will be back!"

"Outstanding 1st visit! The restaurant is extremely clean & welcoming by all staff. I started the califlower for an appetizer-delicious! My son had the nachos & he loved them! I had the turkey whisky burger-it was fresh & full of flavor! My son had the best roasted broccoli! William did an outstanding job at serving us! Fantastic job!"
